This six-day journey connects the historical treasures of Luxor
with the tranquil coast of Al-Quseir on the Red Sea. You will experience

Day after day

Day 1Arrival in Luxor

Upon arrival, you will be personally met at Luxor Airport and transferred to a charming accommodation overlooking the Nile. Depending on your arrival time, a suitable meal will be served. The rest of the day is for relaxation.

Day 2Local life, Karnak and Luxor Temples

The day begins with a visit to New Qurna, the renowned village project by architect Hassan Fathy. Enjoying breakfast with a local family will give you personal insights into everyday life. Afterwards, you will visit the Karnak Temple and experience Luxor Temple in the special atmosphere of sunset.

Tag 3Hot air balloon, royal tombs and trip to the sea

Optionally, the day begins with a hot air balloon flight over the Luxor countryside. Afterwards, you will visit the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. In the afternoon, you will travel through the Eastern Desert to Al-Quseir and check into a historic guesthouse.

Today, discover the underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkelling at the coral reefs of Al-Zarib. Later, a guided tour will take you through the historic old town of Al-Quseir with its ancient houses, mosques, and markets. In the evening, you will experience a traditional Simsimiyya concert.

Are there fixed travel dates?

No. The trip is organised individually upon request. The travel date, group size and desired extensions will be agreed upon together.

Is the hot-air balloon ride included in the price?

The hot air balloon flight is an optional service. It can be booked in addition, depending on the weather, availability, and personal wishes.

Can the trip be booked as a private trip?

Yes. The trip is suitable for solo travellers, couples, families and private groups of friends.

Is snorkelling equipment available?

The necessary basic equipment is usually provided on the organised snorkelling trip. Personal masks or snorkels can of course be brought along.

Do I need experience with snorkelling?

No. The programme can be adapted to different levels of experience. Guests should inform the team in advance of any uncertainties or health limitations.

What clothes should I bring?

Light daywear, comfortable shoes, swimwear, sun protection, and a warmer layer for desert evenings are recommended.

Can I book extra beach days?

Yes. An extension in Al-Quseir, Marsa Alam, Hurghada or another location on the Red Sea can be arranged individually.

Are vegetarian or vegan meals possible?

Yes. Dietary requests and intolerances should be communicated when booking, if possible.
